SoHo Landscape was founded in 2004 by its’ principal owner, Friedel Scholl. After completing his degree in
finance at Florida State University, he returned to Tampa and entered the corporate financial market. His
love for the outdoors and entrepreneurial spirit left him feeling bound by a desk and corporate red tape.
With a love for nature and the desire to own a business, he followed in the words of Mark Twain, “Twenty
years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So
throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sail. Explore. Dream.
Discover.”

Having started from the bottom up, Friedel leads his team with a hands-on approach. No task is too small
or beneath the ability of any member of the team. Friedel now serves on the Board of Directors for the
Florida Nursery, Growers, and Landscape Association.

SoHo Landscape is located in South Tampa and offers service in Hillsborough and Pinellas County.
