JOB OPENING: SHOP MANAGER

DESCRIPTION

Design/Build/Maintenance Landscaping Company seeking someone with a strong background in logistics and operations management to join our team as an Operations Facilitator. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, reliable, and confident in facilitating day-to-day landscape operations.

 

You’ll play a critical role in coordinating equipment, personnel, and supplies and ensure seamless communication between teams and vendors. Bilingual skills are a plus, as is comfort working in an active, outdoor environment. If you're proactive and take pride in keeping operations running efficiently and smoothly, especially in the landscape industry, we’d love to hear from you.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Bilingual (Spanish & English) Preferred

• Strong Communication Skills

• Basic tech skills: Word, Excel, Photo Apps

• Highly Organized

• Morning person

• Bending / Lifting up to 50lbs

• Comfortable working with hands

• Valid FL Drivers license in good standing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

​

• Managing plant nursery inventory

• Tardy / Absentee reporting

• Daily communication with Team Leaders

• Maintain Uniform and Safety standards across all teams

• Facilitate equipment maintenance / replacement schedule

• Inspecting equipment, maintaining service schedule and assist with communication for scheduling repairs

• Coordinating movement of equipment and trailers between jobsites and crews

• Coordinating with Team Leaders on In-house pick-up vs. delivery

• Jobsite preparation

• Daily monitoring of plants needed in CC and compiling plant orders

• Work with plant vendors to collect specs, pictures, pricing, & availability

• Tag plants in the shade tent with customer names and communication via CC to stakeholders

• Manage inventory and maintain adequate supply of parts, materials, etc.

• Lifting up to 50lb

• 80% Hands-on tasks

• 20% Planning and communication

• Arrive by 6:20 AM

• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold), for extended periods each day.

Pay

​

Hourly Range: $24.00 - $26.00
